Manufacturing

High School diploma or GED required at minimum.

Possess a Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.

0-5 years product quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment using a variety of precision measurement tools.

Strong GD&T skills and experience.

0-5 years of experience in writing programs for coordinate measurement equipment (CMM).

0-5 years of experience with manufacturing or inspection of printed circuit boards.

Responsible for the inspection of materials and purchased parts to conform to standards, specifications, and processing requirements.

Inspect for proper identity and dimensions using such measuring devices as automatic and manual CMMs, vision systems, programmable optical comparators, micrometers, functional gauges, and calipers.

Visually inspect for obvious defects or damage such as corrosion, cracks, dents, scratches, and pits. Verify to specifications using purchase orders, blueprints, drawings, and inspection instructions.

Make pass/fail decisions on inspected goods.

Maintain records of results.

Inspections may involve compound angles or 3D projections using inspection equipment such as microscopes, micrometers, telescope gauges, and optical comparators.
